Easter Cocktails

Better times are coming, it’s almost Easter!

With that in mind we’ve put together some eggs-cellent cocktails you can enjoy at home, or in the garden with your favourite people. Chocolate isn’t just for the kids at Easter!

Mini Egg Martini

If you can stop eating them long enough to make this drink it’s definitely worth it! Crush some mini eggs with a pestle and mortar, grab a pastry brush and coat the rim of a martini glass with honey (or sugar syrup). Roll the edge of the glass in the mini eggs and store in the fridge until needed. Shake 25ml creme de cacao, 25ml baileys and 50ml vodka in a shaker with plenty of ice. Strain into your chilled glass and enjoy.

Ramos Chocolate Fizz

Add 45ml dry gin, 45ml white creme de cacao, 5ml orange blossom water, 5ml vanilla extract, an egg white and 30ml single cream to a shaker. Dry shake (without ice) as hard as you can to ensure the ingredients have combined well. Add ice and shake again to chill. Strain into a chilled flute and top with champagne (or prosecco). If you pour the champagne slowly from height it will create a thick foamy head.

The Toblerone

Named after everyone’s favourite triangular chocolate treat, this cocktail combines rum and amaretto with great success. Add 45ml light rum, 15ml amaretto, 22.5ml dark creme de cacao, 10ml honey syrup, 15ml single cream and 10ml of egg white to a shaker with ice. Shake hard and fast and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with grated chocolate and a wedge of toblerone.
