Wedding bar events – Q&A with a happy couple!

Wedding/bar events can be difficult and time consuming to plan so why not let Mambo take the stress away? Read on to see what Jamie and Jess thought of the process following their gorgeous wedding at Norton Fields earlier this month

What made you choose Norton Fields as your wedding venue? 

The barn and surroundings are beautiful. Also the fact that there is an actual bar available with seating and a pub vibe sets it apart from many other venues in the area. 

How did you find dealing with Mambo in the run up to your wedding?

The Mambo team made everything super straightforward and were great with communication throughout the process. I’d recommend them to anyone needing bar events in the future. 

You came to see us at our HQ for a ‘Pour Decisions‘ tasting session, was it helpful? 

Super helpful, not only to decide which drinks to have on the day but it was also great to meet the Mambo team ahead of the event and go through all the finer details face to face.

Which cocktails made it onto your menu?

Old fashioned (Groom’s choice), Margarita (Bride’s choice), Espresso Martini, Bramble and a Dark & Stormy all featured on our personalised menu. 

How were the staff on the day?

Friendly and approachable with great service!

What did your guests think to the drinks?

They loved them and many have said it was such a nice change to be able to have proper cocktails at a wedding. 

Any top tips for planning your wedding (or other parties requiring bar events for hire)?

Plan everything in advance, record everything on a spreadsheet and most importantly don’t get stressed.
