Nordic Bar incoming!! We’ve teamed up with our favourite tipi supplier friends Sami Tipi and you’ll be able to sample Mambo’s finest drinks in the comfort of a festive three hat tipi situated on the Market Place in Derby throughout all of December!
Whether you’re out finishing (or starting!) your Christmas shopping. Meeting friends and colleagues for festive food and drinks. Or treating the family to ice skating be sure to stop in and say hi! We can guarantee you’ll see some familiar faces behind the bar.
The tipis are set to showcase a huge range of entertainment throughout the month, from puppet shows for little ones and live music from various artists – see Derby Live for times/dates.
Outside the tipis there’ll be the ‘Nordic Express‘ land train taking people along the Cornmarket and of course the covered ice rink which was hugely popular last year and has sold out of some sessions already. If you’re lucky you might spot Skater Claus or the Ice King & Queen. Maybe even a naughty elf or two!
From the Nordic Bar you can expect a friendly welcome and a range of drinks to cater for all. A selection of Mambo’s most popular cocktails will of course be on offer. There’ll also be spirits/mixers, wine and beer from our favourite brewery – Freedom – on tap. Mulled wine? Naturally!
Bringing the kids? For the mini Mambos there’ll be mulled apple juice and a variety of mocktails plus the all important hot chocolates with all of the trimmings which is the perfect way to warm the family up after a spin on the ice.
