Wedding mobile cocktail bar hire for a happy couple

Wedding mobile cocktail bar hire for a happy couple…. Everything started with an email dated 4th April, from Mr Mitchell, telling me how mobile bars are expensive to hire, later Mr Mitchell paid the deposit, we always say to our customers to enjoy the bill, no kidding!

37 emails later the big day arrived, well the day before. The day before the wedding me (cocktail detective) and Ben (cocktail secret agent) drove the van to set up the vintage bar in the Peak district. After few wrong sat nav directions, we entered the beautiful grounds of the Heathy Lea Farm, it was sunny, that romantic gentle end of summer sun, and endless field, and one big tree in the middle of it, a swing hanging from it, the rustic kind of swing made from a plank and 2 ropes, slowly moving in the wind…One beautiful old building and the marquee. Here I will always remember the welcome that Alex gave me, I felt like being part of it right away, 37 emails you know 🙂 After few obstacles, cables, uneven flooring, and cream carpet stains we finished to set up the bar, it looked stunning, it looked like it was made for that venue, the vintage touch, the luggages, the antlers, the rosemary sprig wrapped napkins, the wine boxes, the wine they bought from Argentina, the Italian digestif from Germany, style and elegance was to be seen wherever you turn your head, we knew it was going to be an amazing day.

The big day arrives, some clouds are out, but the sun seems to be a bit stronger and lets some rays through them, and it dramatically changes the picture, we felt part of something special, we were part of something special, classy jazz was moving the clouds. The evening went well to say the least, we made bespoke cocktails to suit the taste and the wedding theme, but the most curious of all was the “Jager Bomb” , which Mr Mitchell clearly requested as the favourite cocktail of the night! That said I know that this is a popular drinks for weddings, keeps you dancing longer! Mambo came up with a new way to drink it, to make it a bit more unique and fun, making redbull foam layered on top of ice cold Jagermeister. Result? 2 litres sold between starter and main course. I told you we were part of something special! The rest is history.

Thank you Mr & Mrs Mitchell, it was our pleasure.
