Tips on planning your summer event ahead of time

Summer event season is rapidly approaching. It’s a busy time of year for event suppliers. From weddings and graduations to company celebrations, Mambo mix it up for all occasions.

It can feel overwhelming when tasked with planning your summer event, read our tips below to get an idea of where to start!

Tip One:

Secure your date as soon as possible – we operate on a first come first served basis but will happily hold the date for your summer event with a deposit whilst we sort out the details.

Tip Two:

Consider your event – are we celebrating a life milestone or promoting a new product? Are the drinks for friends and family or potential clients you’re looking to build a relationship with? Black tie or tiki party?

Tip Three:

Venue – look at your event space and how the bar will fit within it. We have a huge variety of bars or you can create your own with our bar configurator. Is the bar the main feature of your summer event or is there another area you wish to take centre stage? The benefits of using our bar configurator for your events is a useful blog to read to help you design your own bar.

Tip Four:

Menu  – the best bit of the planning! Whether it’s cocktails, draught beer or smoothies in the brief we’ve got options for every summer event. We even offer ‘pour decision’ tasting sessions in our HQ if you need samples beforehand!

Tip Five:

Logistics – consider how suppliers can access the space, and when. Setting up summer events can take time and coordinating your supplier drop offs can help create a smoother set up experience. Consider where stock and equipment can be stored too.
