A meeting with SHEIN gave us a clear idea of the brief for the launch party and we put together a bespoke quote with a couple of package options to choose from based on our discussions.
As this was the VIP launch party with influencers present; it was vital the guests had a great selection of drinks available to them. A mix of alcoholic and soft options, to suit all tastes. To avoid ‘the fear of running out’ SHEIN opted for our unlimited drinks package. They also upgraded the prosecco to champagne for the pop up event.
Once the package and price had been agreed, we turned our attention to the finer details. In this instance we didn’t need to provide a bar as SHEIN wanted to incorporate furniture already in situ at the pop up.
So next up in the planning? Drinks.
SHEIN opted for a mix of fruity and spicy cocktails; with Pornstar Martinis, Basil Grande & Spiced Mojitos featuring on the menu alongside a delicately floral British Garden Mocktail. To cater for those not drinking cocktails we also supplied champagne, wine, bottled beer & a range of soft drinks.
Once the menu was confirmed we focused on branding. This was hugely important given the VIP launch party attendees would be posting images from their evening across social media platforms which would be viewed by thousands of followers. SHEIN’s logo adorned the menu we designed to sit on the bar. We also created edible toppers featuring it for the Pornstar Martinis. An additional level of wow factor was created at the bar by the use of the bubble blaster. Large bubbles were placed on top of the martinis and the logo was revealed once the bubble was burst.
Impactful branding is an excellent talking point for guests at the bar and it makes you memorable after the event.
In the week running up to the launch party all of the details were double checked and signed off. Menu choices, guest numbers, service times, delivery and set up/breakdown times and rules. This ensured all involved parties were aware exactly what to expect on the day.
With our years of experience we know that the key to a successful event is in the preparation and communication beforehand.
We arrived to the VIP launch party at the Bullring at the pre-agreed time. We set about unloading our equipment and stock to create our bar area, making sure every detail was perfect before guests arrived.
Once the bar opened we mixed and poured for the attendees for the evening whilst they browsed the products available in the shop. Engagement at the bar was high, the guests loved the bubble reveal of the logo and engagement on social media platforms was high.
the At closing time we cleaned up and packed away, removing all traces of our mixology antics and disposing of the bar rubbish.
