Just one more drink please just one more drink, how many times as a cocktail bartender I heard this sentence, well passed bed time, confused nights, the passion for this job pushed to its limit, you probably have done it plenty of time yourself, and if you have asked that drink to me, I am sure I have still shaken it for you with a smile :)…. but in this case, just one more drink, is a word play with what The detective Columbo was used to say : “just one more thing”.

I feel a bit like a detective sometimes, but my own geeky version obviously, a cocktail detective, yes I like that, and if I want it or not, I cannot take that image off me, every time I give my card out, someone remind me of the detective, so I thought I may as well become one.

WHAT IS MY DETECTIVE ROLE?

My Cocktail Detective role is to ensure that nobody commits drinks crimes in our events, keeping the quality of standards  of drinks and service high, squeezing fresh limes and not hiding any cordials, that the mint in your Mojito doesn’t get mashed up and that your Martini is stirred enough and not watered down, or G and T with one ice cube, and so on…
