Cocktails and canapés

Cocktails and canapés.

How can you better that?

We always speak about cocktails and here at Mambo we think is about time to talk about Canapés, and one of our favourite is the Amuse Bouche, how many time we heard that word, but what does it mean?

An amuse-bouche is a single bite canapé, basically a bite-sized hors d’œuvre. Amuse-bouches are different from appetizers in that they are not ordered from a menu, but, when served, are done so free and according to the chef’s selection alone. Often accompanied by a complementing drink, cocktails are best,  both served to prepare the guest for the meal (so here we remember the aperitif, meaning “to open” and to offer a glimpse into the chef’s approach to the art of cuisine.

The term is French, literally translated as “mouth amuser”, how cool is that?

Mambo sister company Cocktail and Canapes is here to offer you the ultimate experience in cocktail and canapés, have a peek at the website and get in touch now!

Happy shaking and even happier cooking!
